Endangered Stag Beetle found at Kew Gardens Station

An endangered stag beetle, spotted making its way down the steps of the subway at Kew Gardens Station, has been re-homed to a safer spot by Kew Society volunteers.

Volunteers make light work of sleeper installation at Kew Gardens Station

Kew Society gardening volunteers recently made light work of installing new sleepers in the Mediterranean Garden at Kew Gardens station. This is part of the Society's ongoing garden maintenance program at the station.

Richmond Council to meet parties involved with Pensford Field

Kew Society Trustees will also attend the meeting with the aim of finding an equitable outcome

Kew Green proposal for railings expansion

At present, low white railings are in place around most of Kew Green. The Parks Department of Richmond Council have proposed that these are now extended to other parts of the Green, whilst still allowing convenient pedestrian and wheelchair access.
