Update: January 2023

Hounslow Council’s planning committee narrowly (7-5) approved the application in January 2023 (see here).’

Holly House, site of the rejected Chiswick Curve, at Chiswick Roundabout.

A planning application for a 24 storey tower block has been received by Hounslow Council.  Again, our concern is the impact on the views from Kew, in particular the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. We have submitted objections, as has Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.

Update: 14 October 2022

A planning application has now been submitted for Holly House at the Chiswick Roundabout. The proposed redevelopment of this small site effectively replaces the 32-storey Chiswick Curve scheme, which was finally turned down on appeal by the High Court in March 2020. The recent application, at 24 stories, is three stories higher than the scheme which was the subject of a public consultation in  February 2021. We are reviewing the application in advance of our response to Hounslow Council.
