No Keep Clear markings at the junction of Raleigh Road & A316

Cars queuing to drive onto the main A316 from the side street Raleigh Road but blocked by vehicles on the main roadThere’s concern from drivers who use Raleigh Road to get onto the A316 near Manor Circus, who are having to queue because their exit is blocked at peak periods. The “Keep Clear” markings which were put in place whilst the Manor Circus roadworks were underway, have now been removed.

Kew’s MP Sarah Olney says this in her weekly newsletter:

“While these markings were only implemented as a temporary measure to enable vehicles from Raleigh Road to turn onto the dual carriageway without being blocked by the traffic, many constituents and residents noted that this was a positive change which helped drivers access the A316. While TfL have, so far, refused requests to reinstate the markings they did encourage residents and commuters to report their desire for the keep clear signage to be reinstalled”.

The email address is: customerservice@tfl.gov.uk

TfL has provided assurances that these correspondences will be passed onto their Major Projects team for continued consideration.
