“Chris studied Chinese at Oxford University and has spent 30 years living and working across Asia. A diploma in Japanese led to a career in finance in Tokyo and Taipei, and in 2005 he planted a vineyard in Changdong China and built a Scottish castle there, where Treaty Port Vineyards continues to make wine. Chris now divides his time between Richmond, Taipei and Changdong. The talk will be followed by wine tasting and the opportunity to buy some Chinese wine.”
