Join us for a captivating evening at The National Archives in Kew as we explore In A Strange Land, a powerful new audiobook by Chris Ruffle
Narrated by an exceptional ensemble cast and enriched with original music, In A Strange Land blends historical depth with deeply human storytelling. Some characters are drawn from history—others from everyday life—but all share a common thread: the experience of being “out of place” in a changing world.
This special evening will offer insight into the inspiration behind the work, the themes of exile and identity, and the stories that connect past and present in unexpected ways.
The talk will be followed by wine tasting and an opportunity to buy some Chinese wine.
